Machert has always provided excellent service to my family and I. Whenever I call or go in to the shop, they treat me as a friend. I have taken my vehicles to them over the last 6 years and they have become very familiar with me. The front office is clean and the employees are friendly. I took my XC90 in because it had a terrible "clunk" coming from the rear right. I had taken it to another mechanic in Gig Harbor, and after several attempts he couldn't solve the issue (and thus didn't charge me, keeping me loyal). I then took it to Volvo of Tacoma (read my reviews on this place) and they told me it was "nothing" and for $525 they could put a spring isolator on to "muffle the sound." So I took it to Mackert after running into an employee at another store. In one day they had identified and fixed the issue. Great customer service, fantastic techs, good prices. I'm staying loyal to my other mechanic for most basic repairs, but these guys have my business for all major issues.

I took my car in for a simple service and they were very thorough. They checked out a noise concern and made sure they could determine it was not a safety issue. I asked for an oil change and they even reset my internal dash computer to display oil change at 100% - small detail but it was appreciated! I love taking my car to Mackert's.
