This was our first visit to Mackert Automotive after referral from Les Schwab/Gig Harbor and friends. The service tech Chris was friendly, courteous and professional. Our alternator went out unexpectedly and we were able to get the car in late afternoon that day and the car was repaired and ready for pick-up the next day. My husband was impressed by the long service warranty that far exceeds other repair shops we've dealt with previously. We appreciate such quick turnaround, the car runs great and we'll be back next time we need another car repair!

We always appreciate the honesty and transparency that we get when we take our cars to Mackert. That, as well as the great service, is what keeps us coming back. We never feel up-sold, and we have always been given a choice to stop services, especially if a large problem is found (most recently a transmission); and Chris always talks to me as a equal, and never asks to talk to my husband, which I appreciate as I have had that experience previously. We highly recommend for both car and customer service.

The HVAC did not work to provide heat to our Chevy Tahoe. I went to 3 Chevy dealer service departments. They could not resolve. Mac Auto calibrated some sensors and works great now.

They're realistic and won't try to upsell you on anything unnecessary. All around excellent place! Special thanks to Chris who didn't hesitate to immediately pop the hood on my SUV and take a look when I first stopped by with a concern, (even though he was swamped to the gills with customers and ringing phones.) Chris and Ben have been wonderful to deal with every time. This shop won't let you down, I highly, highly recommend them.
