Great place to do business with. Besides myself, I have been sending others to Mackert and they were very satisified with the results. One person had his own shop until his injuries, He trust you with his vehicles and he also has been sending business to you. Word of mouth is a great way to get more business. I myself can not do much and I trust this place more than dealers. My daughter got me started there because I use to do most of my own work, after surgies made it hard for me to do anything on cars. Staff is extremely courteous and accommodating. Honest. A bit pricey in that I paiid more than I would have at my Tacoma auto dealership. However, convenience of not crossing the bridge is worth something. Will keep them on my list for a return visit.

Service was fast, efficient, friendly, and they have a great warranty on all parts and service. They have a convenient drop box for keys for my early-morning dropoff, and I just can't find anything negative to say.

We are new to Gig Harbor and started asking around about where to take our car for service. More than once we were told "Mackert Auto". Our experience was very positive! Friendly, professional, knowledgable staff and we were able to schedule our 60K service within a few days. We will definitely go back. Mackert was just what we were looking for!

I left my 2002 Jetta with them, and asked them to verify whether or not my timing belt had broken. They were able to confirm this for me without charging me a dime! They offered to perform a $100 "check-up" to determine how much it would cost to repair my car, but I declined, and decided to cut my losses and sell it for whatever I could get. They allowed me to keep the Jetta in their parking lot for 48 extra hours while I found a buyer. They didn't even complain! Great people here!
