Chris was great to work with. He answered all our questions and got back to us quickly. Based on our experience I plan on using Mackert Automotive again in the future should we have other car repair needs and would recommend them to others.

I’ve been using Mackert for several years to service two vehicles. The front office is always very friendly and the entire team has been nothing short of great. My latest visit was unplanned, my truck would not start. I was just a few blocks from Mackert. I knew they do not usually do roadside service but I called for their recommendation for who to call. I called and told Chris the predicament I was in and asked if he could recommend someone in the area. He put me on hold, came back in a few minutes and said they had just had a no show and could send someone out to get the truck started. Yes, it was good luck to be close to the shop and for them to have a no show but the fact they stepped up and got me out of a jam with a service they don’t normally provide tells you the way they run there business. The icing on the cake is I drove the truck to there shop for a permanent repair. They only had a few hours before the end of their work week. I expected to get the truck the following week. I got a call about 45 minutes prior to closing, the truck repair was completed and ready to be picked up. Thank you to the Mackert crew.

Mac Auto was great! I couldn't be happier with tge service I received. I thought I was having issues with my Jeep's transmission but wasn't sure. They checked it out, drove it and checked the fluid level (which takes special tools) and could not find any problems. They didn't charge me because they said they didn't fix anything (even though they did spend some time on it). Nice! Thanks Mac Auto

They back up all repairs and listen to concerns, they even follow up to assure everything is alright, who could ask for more .If you want the work done right, and don't care to come back until you need to, then make this your first stop, you will not regret it..... I never have!

Except for being hidden from view and away from public transportation, Mackert is probably the best option in Gig Harbor for high quality car service and repair. They seem to keep current with their technology and knowledge of all but European cars. They explain and slow you (with video) what is needed when and why, and tell you how long and how much it will take. They dont treat you with junk food, drink, and mind-numbing TV shows while you wait.
